The animals put Badger’ s plan to take back Toad Hall into action. They enter through the secret tunnel, surprise the weasels at their party, and drive them back into the woods. Badger insists that Toad throw a banquet at Toad Hall to celebrate. Toad plans to use the party as another opportunity tosing his own praises, and his friends must once again intervene. In the end, Toad compensates some of the people involved in his previous adventures, and the four animals continue in their friendship, the subjects of much attention and respect.
