Emma and her family go to the Golden Pagoda restaurant every year on her mom’ s birthday. Before they leave, Emma puts their new puppy, Sparky, out in the backyard, but forgets to lock the gate. While at dinner, each member of the family receives a mysterious fortune in their fortune cookie. When they arrive home, they discover that Sparky has escaped the backyard.
