Sergeant Stubby recounts the story of one faithful dog who sailed to France with American soldiers to serve in the trenches of World War I. The young bull terrier proved so heroic that he waspromoted to sergeant and received numerous honors and awards. Though wounded in battle, Stubby survived the war to become a national hero.
